If you’ve got a bookworm on your list, look no further than Tattered Cover, Denver’s beloved Lower Downtown bookseller, where you’ll find great deals on books, cards and gift items. The Denver Pavilions is an open-air shopping and entertainment center stretching over two city blocks on the 16th Street Mall, between Welton and Tremont Streets. Inspired by the magic of winter, The Ice Palace returns to Cherry Creek Shopping Center during the holiday season. This one-of-a-kind experience includes a magical snow and light show inside a soaring 22' dome encircled with a series of arches and snow globes featuring polar and arctic animals. And new this year: The Ice Palace Princess. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, families can meet, interact with and even take a photo with our beautiful princess.

Across the street, Cherry Creek North’s 16 blocks are filled with holiday lights and décor highlighting the region’s largest collection of independently owned boutiques, home stores, restaurants, and galleries.

Relive a centuries old German tradition when the 11th annual Denver Christkindl Market kicks off on Friday, November 25, 2011, in connection with Downtown Denver’s Grand Illumination and the Parade of Lights. The sights, sounds and flavors of the holiday season with a German flair arrive on the 16th Street Mall. Music, holiday lights and typical vendor cabins will dot Skyline Park area across from the Daniels & Fisher Clock Tower.


Denver Art Museum

Stop by one of the Museum Shops whenever the Museum is open and choose from an array of beautiful and unique items perfect for holiday giving, ranging from jewelry, books and scarves to games, prints and decorative accents for an artful home. You can also purchase gift memberships – the deadline to have the membership packet mailed to the recipient by Christmas is December 4.
